Community
Community is the essence of our Bruneian at Heart spirit. As a Partner in Progress, we work closely with relevant stakeholders and strategic partners to affect change in issues at the heart of the community.
We Focus Our Efforts On Three Areas
Education
Nurturing future leaders and thoughtful citizens through financial knowledge, business planning, leadership and teambuilding skills.
Entrepreneurship
Empowering individuals and small businesses through entrepreneurship awards, micro-grant schemes, and micro-credit programmes.
Community
Preserving our traditions and way of life, helping Bruneians help each other and the environment through impactful social projects.
BIBD ALAF
BIBD's Advocating Life-Long Learning for Aspiring Future (ALAF) Program is an education-community funding initiative in the form of financial support and assistance. The program is a manifestation of BIBD's belief in the value of life-long learning in line with the objectives of Brunei Vision 2035.
The BIBD ALAF program supports less fortunate children in Brunei Darussalam so that opportunities for success are accessible for the underprivileged. Besides educational support, the program also provides for necessities such as stationeries, transportation and meals.
The program is run in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs along with the support of local corporates and members of the public.
