1) Standard Convention & Definition

PIN*5 digit numbers
A/c Abbreviation4-character code of alpha-numeric or alphabet
(To substitute the last 4 digit of account number which has been registered for SMS Banking and for easy reference)

Own a/c
Client’s own personal account(s)
3rd Party a/c
Other individuals’ account(s) for fund transfer (Must be registered)
Amount
Transaction amount requires no dollar ($) sign
Eg: Fund Transfer to Dana Pengiran Muda for $500

SMS Banking Transaction Format

Transaction format list is a format set by BIBD SMS Banking for the subscribers to type the text in the mobile phone as means of SMS Banking transaction.

The format should be correctly typed as specified in the listing. A space between every word should be maintained and if it is more than one space, transaction will be considered as Invalid.

BIBD SMS BANKING INSTRUCTION FORM

Any instruction on Subscriber’s SMS banking after registration can to be done through an Instruction form (Appendix F ) as follows:

  • New SMS Utility Bill Payment
  • Service termination
  • Change of Mobile Phone Number
  • Pin Regeneration
  • Service temporary disable
  • Service Reactivation
  • Registered Account for Deletion (Exclusion)
  • New Account for Activation on own or 3rd party. (Inclusion)
