Deposit
A minimum:

  • Balance of B$50.00 maintained at all times
Savings can be made in:

  • Standing Instruction
  • Salary deduction
Facilities
  • Dividend will be paid to depositors maintaining an average minimum balance of BI260.00 per month

  • Passbook will be provided upon opening of account
Eligibility
  • Children below 16 yean old residing in Negara Brunei Darussalam
  • Account will be opened jointly with one of the parents or guardians who will act as the Account Administrator
Required Documentations
  • Parent’s / Guardian’s IC
  • Original birth certificate of child
  • Declaration of Adoption is required for adopted child
Passbook / Statement
  • Updating passbook can be done at any BIBD branches
  • Any lost passbook can be reissued with a support of an original copy of the police report
