A flexible financing that allows customers to prudently structure their financing with an affordable monthly repayment schedule and flexible maturity tenure.
Financing Purpose
  • Purchase of a house and/or land
  • Mouse renovation
  • And others as approved by the Bank
Repayment Period
  • 20 years maximum period
Eligibility
  • Brunei Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Brunei Government employees
  • Private Sector employees (recognized y the Bank)
  • Not exceeding 55 years of age (subject to Mortgage
  • Redemption Insurance / MRI)
Required Documentations (whichever is applicable)
Applicant
  • Original lC
  • Copy of latest salary slip
  • Confirmation of salary / monies / rental from Brunei Government or private sector recognized by the Bank
  • Full evaluation report on the land / property that is going to be mortgage fr0m our accredited Property Surveyors
  • Letter of certification on financing balance with other financial institution, if any
  • Copy of Land Title Deed
Personal Continuing Guarantor (pcg)
  • Original IC
  • Copy of latest salary slip
  • Declaration of other guarantee financing
Additional Requirement (for buying house/land)
  • Sales and Purchase Agreement or Letter of intent from seller
  • Seller’s original IC
  • Balance of seller’s /developer’s financing with other bank (if the property is charged to other bank)
Securities (whichever is applicable)
Applicant
  • Assignment of Monthly Salary / Monies / Rental from the Brunei Government or accepted private sector
  • Power of Attorney / Memorandum of change over the property / land (first party only)
  • Endorsement of Fire Protection Coverage during and after construction up to its full insurable value withTakaful BIBD Bhd with endorsement from the Bank as the beneficiary. The original policy shall be kept by the Bank.
  • Mortgaged Redemption Insurance (MRI) with endorsement from the Bank as the beneficiary.
  • Submission of original Land Title Deed
  • Personal Continuing Guarantor (PCG)
Personal Continuing Guarantor (pcg)
  • Citizens or Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam
  • An employee of the Brunei Government, Royal Brunei Airlines or Brunei Shell Companies
  • Must not be a contract employee
  • Income must be sufficient to cover the proposed monthly instalment
Document for Security
  • Original Land Title Deed(s)
  • Power of Attorney / Memorandum of Charge (first party only)
  • Property Sales Agreement (prepared by the bank’s accredited lawyer and selected by the customer)
  • Deed of assignment (prepared by lawyer)
  • Confirmation on Deposit of Land Title Deed documents
  • Mortgaged Redemption Insurance Policy
  • Fire Protection Coverage Policy
  • Personal Continuing Guarantor Agreement
  • Letter of undertaking from guarantor
  • Letter of undertaking from customers authorising the Bank to deduct their account for the renewal of property’s fire Protection Coverage (Takaful)
