December 11, 2009 – The Corporate Banking Division of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad (BIBD) today held a friendly bowling tournament with their corporate customers at Empire Country Club, Bowling Alley. The tournament is on an invitational basis.

Present at the event was BIBD corporate customers from several organisations with a total of 48 bowlers. The participating organisations are the Treasury Department from the Ministry of Finance, Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP), Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas Sdn Bhd (BLNG), TelBru, Tobishima Corporation, Setia Motors, Mashhor General Contractor and Belait Shipping Company. Also in attendance were BIBD’s Head of Corporate Banking Division Mr Koh Swam Sing as well as the division’s officers and staff.

Among the aims of the event were for the Corporate Banking Division to show its appreciation to its customers as well as to strengthen the relationship between their corporate customers and government institutions with BIBD.

The event ended with a prize presentation by the Corporate Banking Division to the participating bowlers and they also had the opportunity to mingle with the staff over some refreshments.
